Job Description

The Account Executive will drive the adoption of Amber's energy automation technology by building a sales pipeline and closing deals with utility partners across Europe, helping to reshape the energy industry and empower customers to optimize their energy usage and reduce bills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build a pipeline and close deals with utility partners across Europe to integrate Amber's technology.
  • Solve customer problems by demonstrating the value of Amber's products and solutions.
  • Collaborate with product, tech, and commercial teams to execute sales strategies from prospecting to closing deals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in building a sales pipeline and closing deals with utility partners across Europe, demonstrating the ability to secure large and complex deals.
  • Strong passion for solving real customer problems with Amber's product and a motivation to drive customer adoption and engagement.
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work closely with colleagues across product, technology, and commercial teams to execute an effective sales process from prospecting to close.
  • Full-time availability and the ability to be ideally based in the UK or anywhere within mainland Europe, with full working rights in the UK or EU.
  • Experience in energy, technology, or related industries is preferred, especially in selling to utility or energy companies.
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical aspects of Amber’s energy automation technology to potential utility partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple prospects and deals simultaneously, with effective pipeline management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with utility partners and internal teams effectively.
  • Willingness to participate in a multi-stage interview process including screening, intro call, take-home assignment, panel interview, and final discussion with founders or executive team.
