Job Description
The Deal Desk Analyst at AlertMedia is responsible for structuring, pricing, and approving sales deals, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure profitable and compliant transactions, and optimizing the sales process to support rapid growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Structure deals, including pricing, proposals, and approval processes
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Implementation teams to ensure smooth deal execution
- Develop and review proposals to align with company strategy and profitability goals
- Support sales team with guidance on complex pricing and contract negotiations
- Lead initiatives to streamline and improve the deal process for efficiency
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies throughout the sales cycle
- Track, analyze, and report on key deal metrics to identify areas for improvement
Requirements
- Four (4) years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales Revenue Operations, Pricing, or similar roles, ideally within a SaaS company.
- Strong understanding of deal structuring, pricing strategies, and proposal creation for complex sales.
- Experience with Salesforce and other sales tools to manage pricing and proposal workflows.
- Strong technical skills in Excel, with the ability to create new tools from scratch, troubleshoot formulas, and analyze large sets of data.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and the ability to optimize processes for efficiency and scale.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex pricing and deal terms into clear, actionable guidance for the sales team.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a focus on deadlines and deal velocity.
- Ability to act as a cross-functional collaborator between Sales, Finance, Legal, and Implementation teams to ensure smooth execution of pricing strategies, timely deal approval, accurate contract terms, and successful customer implementations.
- Ability to manage deal structuring and pricing in collaboration with Sales and Finance teams to structure competitive pricing for new business and expansion opportunities.
- Experience in proposal creation and review, ensuring all pricing and terms align with company strategy, client requirements, and profitability goals.
- Experience in supporting the sales team with deal guidance, helping navigate complex pricing and contract structures to streamline negotiations.
- Experience leading projects aimed at simplifying and improving the deal process, ensuring alignment across teams and increasing overall efficiency in closing deals.
- Ensuring all deals are properly documented and company policies and procedures are adhered to at all stages of the sales cycle.
- Developing, tracking, and reporting on key Deal Desk and Sales metrics to identify areas for continuous improvement and drive operational excellence.
