Job Description
The Supply Chain Intern at Alarm.com will gain hands-on experience in supply chain process improvement, data analysis, and automation technologies while supporting operational projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities for process improvement across supply chain functions such as order management, RMA management, international shipping, and customer support
- Analyze and validate inventory data across multiple systems to ensure accuracy and support decision-making
- Implement AI and automation technologies to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate with supply chain leadership and cross-functional teams to evaluate and execute projects that improve supply chain performance
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Data Management, or a related field.
- Interest or experience in supply chain process improvement areas such as forecasting accuracy, inventory optimization, cost management, and service level performance.
- Strong analytical mindset with a passion for data and problem solving.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple teams within Alarm.com and with partner networks.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Ability to think strategically while executing on tactical tasks and operate autonomously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Calm under pressure, adaptable, and enthusiastic about new technologies.
- Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude.
