Job Description
The Software Engineering Summer Intern at Alarm.com will gain hands-on experience working on a variety of IoT technologies, including home automation, video analysis, web development, and real-time databases, while collaborating with a talented team to develop innovative consumer products.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze functional requirements and product specifications
- Research, adopt, and integrate new technologies
- Innovate and improve existing products
- Write coherent, organized code
- Take ownership of projects to ensure timely completion
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance to develop test plans for deployment
Requirements
- Must be currently pursuing a B.A. or B.S. in Computer Science or similar engineering program with strong academic performance
- Must be a self-starter, analytical, and a tenacious problem solver
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must have rigorous attention to detail and focus on quality of deliverables
- Must have proven team experience and comfort in a team-oriented environment
- Must have a passion for working with technology and excitement for creating high quality consumer technology products
