The Senior Tax Accountant will handle various corporate tax functions, including compliance, tax provision, and coordination with external advisors, to ensure global tax law adherence and support the company's financial reporting and tax planning efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate with internal departments and external advisors to meet data request deadlines for tax compliance and reporting.
Assist in calculating, documenting, and reviewing ASC 740 permanent and temporary differences, income tax disclosures, and computations.
Coordinate with external advisors on federal R&D tax credit studies, including data collection, reconciliation, and application filings.
Prepare calculations for nondeductible foreign R&D costs.
Support the preparation and review of federal and state income tax workpapers and returns, ensuring alignment with financial reporting.
Review state income tax apportionment calculations, state income tax returns, and certain pro forma federal tax returns.
Assist with income tax exam management by gathering documentation and coordinating responses to auditors.
Requirements
Three to six years of tax experience working in a public accounting and or corporate tax function.
An accounting degree.
Experience with Alteryx strongly preferred, particularly for optimizing complex tax calculations and transforming large volumes of source data into usable tax workpapers and summaries.
Experience working with corporate accounting systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-starter with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
