Job Description
The role involves managing the end-to-end development of hardware and IoT security products, collaborating across engineering, marketing, and sales teams to deliver innovative solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction and market success.
Key Responsibilities
- Become the product expert and liaison for your area of expertise
- Own the end-to-end experience for a product and its features
- Communicate with departments to assess goals, priorities, and strategy
- Drive the product development lifecycle, including writing specifications, testing features, managing beta programs, and creating documentation
- Develop and maintain relationships with technology partners, vendors, and customers
- Work with engineering to facilitate product feature development
- Ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve product issues
- Manage the go-to-market strategy for new products
- Conduct market research and gather customer feedback
- Champion enhancements to existing products
Requirements
- Minimum B.S. or B.A. degree from a competitive school with strong academic performance. Technical degree is a plus.
- 1-3 years of work experience in technology, product management, project management, or related fields.
- Experience with hardware products is strongly desired.
- Highly motivated, resourceful, self-starter with ability to deliver results.
- Strong quantitative, analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to synthesize research to drive product strategy and decision making.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for consumer technology and interest in developing a deep understanding of complex products and technologies.
- Strong computer skills, e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
