Job Description
The Manufacturing Quality Engineer is responsible for managing and ensuring manufacturing quality at ADC's partner factories, conducting audits, analyzing quality data, and collaborating with teams to improve product assembly, testing, and process standards for camera products.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct manufacturing quality audits for IQC, IPQC, OQC, OBA, GRR, ORT, and CQI processes.
- Perform quality validation procedures for SMT, DIP, and FATP manufacturing stages.
- Review SCARs and 8Ds from suppliers and manufacturing partners, and track for continuous improvement.
- Gather and analyze manufacturing quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with manufacturing partners to identify root causes of material quality issues and drive corrective actions.
- Support root-cause analysis of RMA claims and implement corrective resolutions.
- Ensure manufacturing environment and production setup meet quality standards across all sites.
- Monitor ongoing production quality and collaborate on process improvements with production teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience working for the ODM, EMS or OEM industry on Manufacturing Quality Control for camera products.
- Clear understanding of the manufacturing quality processes and requirements.
- Good understanding of the quality issues associated with materials, assembly and testing of camera products from the early prototype builds to the mass production builds.
- Deep knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes including SMT, DIP, assembly, testing, packaging, and quality control methodologies.
- General understanding of the potential manufacturing quality issues associated with the design of assembly jigs and testing fixtures for camera products.
- General appreciation of ISO-9001 and ISO-14001 requirements.
- Proficiency in various application software such as Excel and PowerPoint for effective communication with stakeholders.
- Professional written, verbal, and presentation skills in English and Chinese.
- Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
- Work level skills in Vietnamese language are a plus.
