Job Description
The Director of US Sales is responsible for leading and managing a regional sales team, developing strategic sales plans, cultivating customer relationships, and driving revenue growth within the West region for a cloud video platform company.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a regional sales team to meet or exceed sales targets
- Develop and implement strategies for revenue growth within the region
- Cultivate relationships with existing partners and pursue new business opportunities
- Demonstrate software solutions to end-users and channel partners
- Manage key distribution accounts and conduct joint sales calls with team members
- Oversee sales forecasting, goal setting, and policy development for the sales organization
- Drive CRM processes to track business activities and measure results
- Represent the company at regional and national trade shows and market events
- Resolve customer issues and remove sales barriers through professional engagement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 8-10 years sales experience
- 5 years supervisory experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong territory management skills
- Experience using CRM software
- Proficient in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Ability to travel overnight 75% of the time including some weekends
- Demonstrate a team-oriented mindset
- Exceptional presentation and reporting skills
