Job Description
Aeva is seeking a Senior Embedded C Software Engineer to develop and implement embedded systems for advanced LiDAR sensors used in autonomous vehicles, robotics, and other applications, from initial design to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded C software for LiDAR sensors and perception systems
- Translate system requirements into embedded software architecture and implementation
- Collaborate on the full software development lifecycle from initial design to production deployment
Requirements
- Proven experience in Embedded C programming for software development, with the ability to work on embedded systems from initial architecture design through to production.
- Self-starter with the ability to independently develop and implement embedded software solutions.
- Experience in designing, developing, and debugging embedded software for hardware platforms.
- Demonstrated understanding of embedded system architecture and integration of key components onto silicon photonics chips.
- Ability to work on complex sensing and perception technology, specifically related to LiDAR systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and capability to troubleshoot embedded software issues effectively.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment involving hardware and software integration.
