Job Description
An Optical Engineer Intern will gain hands-on experience in designing, developing, and testing optical components and systems for advanced LiDAR sensing technology used in autonomous vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design of optical sub-components and systems for LiDAR sensing.
- Participate in the development and testing of optical components.
- Apply optical engineering principles to real-world projects related to LiDAR technology.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor's or master's degree program in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience or coursework related to the design, development, and testing of optical sub-components and systems.
- Knowledge of optical engineering principles and concepts relevant to LiDAR coherent sensing systems.
- Ability to contribute to the design, development, and testing of complex optical sub-components and systems used within LiDAR sensing systems.
