Job Description
Aeva is seeking a Photonics Integration Engineer to develop and deliver photonics components for their advanced LiDAR sensing technology used in autonomous vehicles, robotics, and other applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver photonics solutions to various product lines
- Integrate key LiDAR components onto silicon photonics chips
- Collaborate across functions to develop photonics technologies for autonomous devices
Requirements
- Experience in delivering photonics solutions to various product lines, demonstrating cross functional expertise in photonics integration.
- Proficiency in integrating key LiDAR components onto silicon photonics chips for compact modules.
- Ability to work on photonics integration projects that support autonomous devices such as vehicles and robots.
- Experience in developing or working with 4D LiDAR sensors that detect instant velocity in addition to 3D position.
- Strong understanding of photonics engineering principles relevant to sensing and perception technology.
