Job Description
An experienced Roofer needed to join the Solar PV installation team at Octopus Energy Services, helping to install solar panels and low-carbon technology across the UK as part of their renewable energy mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Install solar photovoltaic (Solar PV) systems on rooftops
- Ensure proper fitting and secure installation of roofing components for Solar PV
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of roofing surfaces for solar panel installation
Requirements
- Experience as a Roofer, specifically with Solar PV installation, demonstrating the ability to install solar panels on roofs across the UK
- Ability to work safely at heights and on roofs, adhering to health and safety standards
- Proven experience in roofing work, including knowledge of roofing materials and techniques relevant to Solar PV installation
- Physical ability to perform roofing tasks, including lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions
- Availability to work across multiple locations in the UK as part of a nationwide team
- Willingness to work as part of a team and collaborate with other installation and technical staff
- Possession of relevant roofing or construction qualifications or certifications (if specified in the full job description, otherwise implied by experience)
