Job Description
The Data Systems Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing impact-focused data systems and reporting tools, leading a global team to ensure data quality, governance, and effective use of data to support organizational goals and social impact initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evolve the global data management architecture to meet operational and impact reporting needs
- Lead the redesign or creation of Salesforce objects and system architecture for current and future datasets
- Manage data migrations and integrations from legacy systems and ensure smooth connectivity between Salesforce and other platforms
- Establish and maintain data governance frameworks, quality assurance processes, and security protocols
- Build dashboards and reports using Salesforce, Airtable, and other tools to enable data analysis and visualization
- Develop and deliver bilingual training and documentation to enhance data skills across teams
- Build, mentor, and support a distributed data operations team across regions
- Partner with teams to provide impact data for reporting and decision-making
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience designing, implementing, or managing data systems or data architecture
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM, with administrator-level development experience required
- Experience managing data or systems transformation projects
- Experience integrating multiple platforms and workflows
- Data analysis and visualization experience
- Familiarity with tools such as Airtable, Power BI, Zapier, Looker Studio, or HubSpot
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Permanent work authorization in Colombia
- Experience in impact measurement, MEL, ESG, or social impact organizations (not required but considered a plus)
- Experience working in INGOs, nonprofits, or mission-driven organizations (not required but considered a plus)
- Degree in a quantitative or technical field (not required but considered a plus)
- Familiarity with GDPR law and compliance (not required but considered a plus)
