Job Description
The Investor Relations Associate will support fundraising efforts, build relationships with potential investors, analyze market trends, and prepare reports and presentations for an impact asset management firm focused on growth-stage companies in emerging markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Managing Partners and CIO in building relationships with potential LPs
- Analyze market trends and LPs' expectations
- Organize fundraising road shows
- Coordinate with MPs and the board on fund fundraising activities
- Create templates for LP reports and pitch decks
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a related field.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mass Communication, or a related discipline.
- Ability to support the Managing Partners and the CIO in building strong relationships with new potential LPs including DFIs, family offices, foundations, and pension funds.
- Ability to analyze market trends and be on the top of LPs expectations.
- Experience in organizing road shows.
- Ability to align and coordinate with Managing Partners, the ACP board, on fundraising of the different funds.
- Experience in creating templates for LP reports and pitch decks.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite, along with equivalent productivity communication applications such as Zoom.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional polish and client-service mindset.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and proactive, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and support multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to maintain discretion, professional judgment, and confidentiality at all times.
- Must be authorized to work in Kenya, Egypt, or the UK.
