The Sr. Analyst Associate, Project Finance supports the structuring, modeling, and execution of financing solutions for renewable energy projects, playing a key role in strategic decision-making and project development within a fast-growing clean energy company.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and refine complex financial models for solar projects, including tax equity, debt financing, and project cash flows.
Evaluate project risks, financial feasibility, and investment returns through due diligence on market conditions, regulatory factors, and project economics.
Support the execution of project finance transactions such as debt structuring, tax equity financing, and corporate financing initiatives.
Prepare presentations, term sheets, and investment materials for lenders, investors, and stakeholders.
Conduct research on industry trends, policy changes, and the competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
Collaborate with internal teams (development, legal, engineering) to ensure projects are financially optimized and successfully executed.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in project finance, investment banking, private equity, or renewable energy finance.
Strong proficiency in financial modeling using Excel, including DCF analysis and project valuation techniques.
Familiarity with tax equity structures, debt financing, and renewable energy incentives such as ITC and PTC.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Passion for renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven experience leading and managing high-performing teams.
