Job Description
The Sr. Analyst Associate, Project Finance supports the structuring, modeling, and execution of financing solutions for renewable energy projects, playing a key role in strategic decision-making and project development within a fast-growing clean energy company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and refine complex financial models for solar projects, including tax equity, debt financing, and project cash flows.
- Evaluate project risks, financial feasibility, and investment returns through due diligence on market conditions, regulatory factors, and project economics.
- Support the execution of project finance transactions such as debt structuring, tax equity financing, and corporate financing initiatives.
- Prepare presentations, term sheets, and investment materials for lenders, investors, and stakeholders.
- Conduct research on industry trends, policy changes, and the competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams (development, legal, engineering) to ensure projects are financially optimized and successfully executed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in project finance, investment banking, private equity, or renewable energy finance.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling using Excel, including DCF analysis and project valuation techniques.
- Familiarity with tax equity structures, debt financing, and renewable energy incentives such as ITC and PTC.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Passion for renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven experience leading and managing high-performing teams.
