Job Description
The Associate Product Manager at Nexamp will support the Product Technology team in developing tools for customer billing and operations, while gaining experience to become an independent product manager. The role involves collaborating with various teams, conducting user research, and analyzing data to improve customer experiences in the clean energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Listen to customer calls to understand common problems.
- Learn about consumer-facing billing propositions and internal tooling.
- Tackle ad-hoc projects related to customer billing.
- Serve as a liaison between CX and Product teams.
- Document features and processes for both teams.
- Champion data management best practices.
- Identify and document key user problems.
- Build out the backlog through user interviews and testing.
- Develop business cases based on data and insights.
- Communicate findings to align teams on problem-solving.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and stakeholders to develop solutions.
- Translate solutions into user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Track and report on product health metrics and feature performance.
- Run agile ceremonies such as project kickoffs and standups.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience as an associate product manager or data analyst, or equivalent experience working with quantitative and qualitative data.
- Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.
- Experience in showcasing initiative to make improvements to current work, processes, products, and services across the organization.
- Ability to ask appropriate questions, analyze data, identify the root causes of problems, and present creative solutions.
- Expertise in building strong internal and external relationships with customers and stakeholders, instilling trust and loyalty across the industry.
