Job Description
The Global Intelligence Analyst at AlertMedia is responsible for monitoring and analyzing global incidents and potential threats, providing timely and accurate information to customers during critical events. This role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize source tools to identify and monitor incidents and potential threats globally
- Identify events that could impact business continuity and customer safety based on given criteria
- Communicate critical information effectively and with urgency
- Ensure all information is delivered with high accuracy and speed
- Work with the Global Intelligence team to continuously update sources for optimal monitoring
Requirements
- 2 years of professional business experience, particularly in roles demanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Previous job experience as a security or intelligence analyst, in the news media, or another role which required mission-focused, analytical, and highly organized work within time constraints.
- Strong judgement and decision-making skills based on given criteria, with the ability to evaluate a variety of situations, establish priorities, and provide accurate information with urgency.
- General knowledge of current events.
- Understanding of existing social media platforms and ability to learn and utilize a variety of tools and systems.
- Ability to work independently on tasks while also thriving and collaborating as part of a larger team.
- Commitment to the agreed upon shift of Thurs-Sun, 2pm-12am CST, with the ability to be flexible with hours as needed to support the business, including evenings, overnight, weekends, and holidays.
- This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
