Job Description
The Area Vice President of the Systems Engineering Center of Excellence will lead a new organization within Pure's Systems Engineering team, focusing on strategic vision, operational excellence, and talent development while fostering collaboration with the Sales organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and execute the long-term strategy for the Systems Engineering CoE.
- Design and implement a scalable organizational structure and operating model.
- Foster a transparent and collaborative leadership culture.
- Build strong relationships with Core SE teams and Sales leadership.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to improve processes and enhance customer experience.
- Lead quarterly business reviews and manage communications aligned with Sales Field Management Process.
- Drive fiscal planning and align CoE objectives with business goals.
- Scale and lead a high-performance global team with clear career development paths.
- Inspire and develop talent while driving performance management practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in rapidly advancing to senior leadership roles at a leading technology company, with a track record of building and leading high-performing pre-sales and/or post-sales organizations.
- Strong understanding of customer success practices, processes, and technology.
- Experience leading teams to help customers adopt and realize the value of cutting-edge technology.
- Experience leading organizational transformation and scaling teams in high-growth, global environments.
