Job Description
The Production Manager will oversee and optimize daily manufacturing operations at SOLARCYCLE, ensuring efficient production processes, safety compliance, and quality standards while leading a motivated team in the clean energy and recycling sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and manage production schedules to meet company targets and customer demands.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to company policies.
- Monitor workflow, processes, and resources to achieve operational excellence and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
- Analyze production data and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Maintain quality standards by ensuring products meet specifications and conducting regular quality checks.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure all machinery and equipment are functioning properly.
- Manage inventory of raw materials and coordinate supply chain needs with purchasing teams.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on production performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in a manufacturing or factory environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Typing speed of at least 40 words-per-minute.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proven background of working with team members within a manufacturing or factory environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in production management software and tools.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, both spoken and written.
