Job Description
The Receptionist at Zeeco serves as the first point of contact for visitors and colleagues, managing front desk operations, answering calls, greeting guests, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring a professional and welcoming environment in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors
- Answer, screen, and forward phone calls
- Maintain a tidy and presentable reception area and Visitor Conference Center
- Manage mail and deliveries
- Schedule appointments and update calendars
- Enforce security procedures such as visitor sign-in and badge issuance
- Perform clerical duties including email management, data entry, and supply ordering
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with office equipment such as printers and fax machines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to greet visitors professionally and handle inquiries politely.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor with the ability to maintain a positive attitude.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Resourcefulness and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Customer service-oriented attitude.
- Promptness in performing duties.
- Experience in managing reception duties including answering, screening, and forwarding phone calls.
- Experience in greeting and welcoming visitors.
- Experience in maintaining a tidy and presentable reception area, front desk, and Visitor Conference Center.
- Experience in managing mail and deliveries as necessary.
- Experience in scheduling appointments and updating calendars.
- Experience in enforcing basic security procedures such as visitor sign-in sheets, issuing visitor badges, auditing, and reporting.
- Experience performing clerical duties such as email management, data entry, using facilities ticket software, and ordering supplies.
