Job Description

The Senior Manager, Marketing Operations at Xpansiv is responsible for building and managing marketing automation systems, developing data and process management strategies, and creating reporting and attribution capabilities to support the company's growth in energy transition markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and develop marketing operations processes and systems from the ground up.
  • Manage marketing automation platforms including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Account Engagement, and Pardot.
  • Develop and maintain marketing data architecture, campaign taxonomy, lead scoring, routing, and automation workflows.
  • Create and enhance reports and attribution models to provide actionable GTM insights.
  • Oversee website operations and coordinate with external web agencies to optimize brand and demand outcomes.
  • Establish and manage consent and privacy operations, including global subscription preferences, to ensure compliance.

Requirements

  • 4-8 years of marketing operations experience in B2B SaaS environments, with 2 years of marketing operations leadership experience preferred
  • Hands-on administration experience with leading marketing automation solutions and working knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud CRM
  • Built lead scoring and lifecycle automation at scale and delivered attribution that stakeholders trust
  • Implemented and led scaled-up adoption of AI tools for key GTM workflows
  • Developed excellent documentation and stakeholder enablement practices
  • Experience developing consent and privacy programs across US and EU, and building preference subscription centers
  • Experience with Pardot (Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement) including configuration, integrations, data sync, and release management
  • Experience in managing marketing data architecture, campaign taxonomy, lead scoring, routing, and lifecycle automation
  • Experience creating and maturing reports and attribution capabilities to deliver clear information and practical insights
  • Experience overseeing website operations reporting and managing outside web agencies
  • Ability to establish consent and privacy operations and a global preference subscription center ensuring compliance and deliverability
  • Strong understanding of energy or environmental commodities industry (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Proficiency with WordPress (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Discipline and process-oriented mindset with the ability to design systems and processes and execute hands-on
  • Effective collaboration skills to build consensus with cross-functional stakeholders and develop long-term relationships
  • Ability to work from a blank slate and build systems from scratch
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed
