Job Description
A Sales Executive role focused on closing multi-million dollar renewable energy deals by educating and partnering with clients across various sectors, leveraging relationship management and financial fluency to promote solar and energy storage solutions in a fast-growing, mission-driven company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and close multi-million dollar renewable energy deals with clients such as banks, REITs, sovereign wealth funds, private equity, family offices, and UHNWIs.
- Educate clients on solar and energy storage solutions to meet their specific needs.
- Manage the sales pipeline, build relationships, and follow up with prospective clients to secure high-value partnerships.
- Become an expert on commercial and industrial customer archetypes, target markets, real estate dynamics, and corporate decision-making processes.
- Partner cross-functionally within the organization to onboard new clients and ensure successful transaction closures.
Requirements
- You have 4 years of experience in sales, brokerage, or business development, personally closing complex transactions.
- You have experience partnering with clients to understand their needs, deliver solutions that meet their unique goals, manage complexity, and accelerate transactions to a close.
- You consistently beat your sales targets.
- You have a no-task-is-too-small attitude and are willing to handle all aspects of the sales process to close big deals.
- You have relationship management experience, including guiding clients through processes, handling objections, and building connections with clients regularly.
- You are comfortable with numbers and can communicate complex financial concepts effectively, especially in the context of on-site energy projects which are economics-driven.
- You thrive in a creative, inventive, fast-paced, rapid-growth environment and enjoy working cross-functionally with team members.
- You are flexible, can react quickly and efficiently to changing circumstances, and are able to pivot as needed.
- You believe that no problem is too hard and can articulate and implement solutions, recognizing multiple ways to solve problems and streamline processes.
- You are located in the United States.
