Job Description
The Water Infrastructure Project Engineer is responsible for collaborating with municipal clients to develop, design, and deliver water and wastewater projects, utilizing technical expertise in planning, designing, and constructing water systems across Southern California.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with municipal clients to develop, design, and deliver water and wastewater projects.
- Evaluate, plan, design, and oversee the construction of water and wastewater systems.
- Lead the technical delivery of multiple projects in coordination with project and technical managers.
- Work directly with clients and internal teams to ensure project success.
- Support marketing and proposal efforts for new projects.
Requirements
- A Professional Engineer license (PE) is required.
- Strong experience in evaluating, planning, designing, and constructing water and wastewater systems.
- Familiarity with a broad range of practice areas, including master planning, permitting, treatment, and distribution systems, is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate with municipal clients to develop, design, and deliver water and wastewater projects across the California region.
- Experience leading the technical delivery of multiple projects in collaboration with Project and Technical Managers.
- Ability to work directly with clients and internal teams to support project execution.
- Willingness to support marketing and proposal efforts related to water infrastructure projects.
- Availability to travel up to 20% within the Southern California Region.
- Excellent technical focus and attention to detail.
- Ability to participate actively in company initiatives and access senior technical staff and managers for guidance.
