A Project Manager role focused on developing, designing, and managing water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects for municipal clients, involving technical evaluation, planning, design, and construction administration within a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with municipal clients to develop, design, and deliver water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.
Evaluate, plan, and design infrastructure projects related to water, wastewater, and stormwater systems.
Provide construction administration for linear and vertical infrastructure projects.
Lead the delivery of multiple projects in collaboration with technical teams and clients.
Engage directly with clients and internal teams to ensure project success.
Support marketing and proposal development efforts for new projects.
Requirements
Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Strong experience in evaluating, planning, designing, and providing construction administration for water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects.
Familiarity with a broad range of issues related to master planning, treatment, distribution, and collection systems.
Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams (preferred).
Ability to collaborate with the Technical Manager and broader technical team to lead the delivery of multiple projects.
Experience engaging directly with clients and internal teams.
Experience supporting marketing and proposal development efforts.
Technical focus with strong experience in linear and vertical water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects.
Ability to develop, design, and deliver drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.
Willingness to travel up to 20% within Maine.
Location in Portland, ME (or willingness to work in this location).
