Job Description
A Product Designer responsible for creating and refining the design of Esri's ArcGIS Field Maps mobile app on iOS and Android, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality user experiences and shape the future of mobile GIS technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mobile app interfaces from concept to implementation
- Create high-fidelity visuals consistent across platforms and aligned with platform conventions
- Collaborate with developers to ensure quality implementation and optimal user experience
- Communicate design ideas and rationale effectively to the development team
- Facilitate participatory and iterative design exercises
Requirements
- Five years of experience designing applications
- Expert knowledge of user-centered design principles and platform interface guidelines
- Proficient skills with design software including Sketch or Figma
- Experience creating diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interface design
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to solve problems in collaboration with a team of designers, engineers, QA, and business stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in human factors, interaction design, psychology, or a related field
