The Senior Engineering Recruiter is responsible for leading full-cycle talent acquisition for technical and professional roles within the environmental consulting industry, focusing on sourcing, market insights, process improvements, and ensuring equitable and compliant hiring practices to support organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
Drive full cycle recruiting for technical and professional roles, focusing on environmental consulting industry needs
Partner with hiring managers and leadership to source high-quality candidates through proactive sourcing and market insights
Develop and implement scalable recruiting practices to improve hiring quality and support business growth
Evaluate and enhance recruiting workflows to ensure equitable, compliant, and efficient hiring processes

Requirements
Experience in driving full cycle recruiting for technical and professional roles across an organization, with a strong emphasis on talent needs specific to the environmental consulting industry.
Partnering closely with business leaders, hiring managers, and Talent Acquisition leadership to deliver high quality candidates through proactive sourcing, deep market insight, and consultative recruiting practices tailored to environmental science, engineering, and regulatory disciplines.
Developing and implementing scalable recruiting practices that improve hiring quality and support business growth.
Leading initiatives to align talent acquisition programs, policies, and processes with organizational strategy, workforce planning needs, and core values.
Partnering with hiring managers to deliver market insights, talent availability assessments, and data-driven recommendations that strengthen hiring decisions.
Evaluating and enhancing recruiting workflows to ensure equitable, compliant practices across all federal, state, and local requirements.
Driving continuous improvement projects focused on optimizing recruiting tools, systems, and the overall candidate experience.
Supporting initiatives that strengthen and promote a consistent employer brand within the talent marketplace.
Possess a strategic and experienced background in talent acquisition, with demonstrated ability to lead process improvements and implement best practices.
Experience in developing and executing recruiting strategies that support organizational growth and workforce planning.
Ability to evaluate recruiting workflows and implement process improvements to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
Experience in utilizing recruiting tools and systems to enhance the candidate experience and recruiting efficiency.
Strong communication skills to partner effectively with hiring managers and leadership, delivering market insights and data-driven recommendations.
Ability to mentor or provide functional guidance to other recruiting resources.
Experience in supporting broader Talent Acquisition initiatives to attract specialized environmental consulting talent.
Willingness to work remotely within the US, with a preference for candidates located in East and Central US.
Understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations relevant to recruiting practices.
