Job Description
The Wastewater Treatment Operator is responsible for participating in the daily operations and maintenance of a wastewater treatment facility, ensuring efficient plant performance and regulatory compliance. The role may involve certification or training for those new to the industry, with a focus on supporting environmental and community health.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the daily operations of the wastewater treatment facility
- Perform maintenance tasks as directed by the Project Manager
- Ensure treatment plant operates efficiently and remains in full compliance
Requirements
- Possession of a valid wastewater treatment operator certification (certified wastewater treatment operator) in accordance with state or federal regulations, or willingness to be trained for this certification.
- Participation in the daily operations and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment facility as directed by the Project Manager.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.
