The Wastewater Operator is responsible for performing daily operations, maintenance, and monitoring activities at treatment facilities and pump stations to ensure compliance with contract requirements and support environmental and community health.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily operations at treatment facilities and pump stations under supervision
Monitor and maintain equipment and processes to ensure proper functioning
Conduct housekeeping and facility maintenance in accordance with contract requirements
Requirements
Possession of a valid wastewater operator license or certification as required by the state or local regulations.
Ability to perform daily operations and maintenance activities at treatment facilities and pump stations under supervision.
Experience in operations monitoring, maintenance, and housekeeping of water treatment facilities and pump stations.
Ability to follow contract requirements and operational procedures related to water treatment and pump station management.
Physical ability to perform tasks associated with wastewater treatment operations, including lifting, bending, and working in various environmental conditions.
Willingness to work the 12:00 am to 12:00 pm shift as specified in the job posting.
Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols related to wastewater treatment operations.
Ability to work under the direction of the Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager.
