Job Description
The Traveling Water and Wastewater Maintenance Specialist supports operations at treatment facilities through technical assistance, process troubleshooting, project transitions, and day-to-day management, with opportunities for travel along the eastern coast of the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Support operations through project transitions and provide technical assistance
- Backfill management positions as needed
- Assist with process control and troubleshooting activities
- Work with various software technologies related to treatment plant operations
- Perform day-to-day operational tasks at treatment facilities
Requirements
- Support operations in the eastern Massachusetts region with occasional travel in other regions of the eastern coast of the United States.
- Provide technical support, backfilling management positions, and assistance for process control or troubleshooting activities at water and wastewater treatment facilities.
- Support project transitions and potentially perform day-to-day operations at treatment facilities.
- Work with various software technologies related to water and wastewater treatment operations.
- Possess the ability to support operations through troubleshooting and process control activities.
- Have the physical ability to support travel and work at multiple treatment facilities as needed.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a company-provided vehicle.
- Be willing to work flexible hours, including overtime hours over 40 hours per week, with straight overtime pay.
- Have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (implied, as no specific education requirement is explicitly stated but typically required for operational roles).
