Job Description
A senior management role focused on developing and leading client service teams in water and wastewater projects for municipal clients in the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions, emphasizing client engagement, innovative solutions, and business growth within an engineering and environmental firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead client service teams serving water and wastewater municipalities in the Mid-Atlantic region.
- Engage directly with clients to understand their needs and foster strong relationships.
- Identify unmet needs of large, complex municipal clients and develop tailored solutions.
- Drive account growth through strategic planning and client development initiatives.
- Ensure team’s technical capabilities remain at the forefront of client and business engagements.
- Showcase innovative project delivery methods to clients and industry stakeholders.
- Generate forward-thinking ideas and solutions to address client challenges.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in water and wastewater services, specifically serving water and wastewater municipalities across the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions.
- Experience developing and leading high-performing client service teams drawn from the firm's top talent.
- Ability to develop and direct client relationships and capture and develop plans to grow the impact of deployed solutions.
- Proven ability to drive growth critical to the mission of the firm through direct client engagement and account development.
- Experience working with large, complex municipalities to identify and address unmet needs through a solutions-oriented approach.
- Technical expertise that remains at the forefront of client and business engagements, effectively showcasing innovative project delivery methods.
- Ability to work with and serve large, complex municipalities to identify unmet needs and generate forward-thinking ideas.
- Travel availability up to 20% of the time.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, science, or related field (implied by professional expertise requirement).
- Demonstrated self-motivation to build internal relationships and form the right teams and solutions.
- Strong communication skills to understand client needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Experience in developing and executing client growth plans and account development strategies.
- Ability to work in a highly visible role within the firm and industry, showcasing technical capabilities and innovative project delivery methods.
