Job Description

The SCADA Engineer will support water, wastewater, and remediation projects across the New England region by developing, implementing, and managing automation and control systems, collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure project success from planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage automation and control systems for water, wastewater, and remediation projects.
  • Support projects from planning through completion, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop project solutions and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Participate in site startup activities, preconstruction, and kick-off meetings at job sites.
  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders to meet project requirements and improve performance and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Support for medium to large implementation projects that may be standalone or multidisciplinary SCADA projects, ensuring project requirements are understood and met while working within the project scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
  • Strong communication and technical skills to interface effectively with a wide array of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with project engineers, technical managers, and project managers, and contribute to initiatives aligned with improved performance and efficiency.
  • Willingness to support projects across the New England Region, including Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut, with regional travel up to 80% and occasional overnight travel.
  • Support projects from planning through completion, including developing, implementing, and managing automation and control systems for water, wastewater, and remediation projects.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, keeping them and project managers informed on project status and identifying future opportunities to enhance operations.
  • Participate in preconstruction and kick-off meetings, support SCADA project startups, and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide support for projects that involve automation and control systems, with a focus on SCADA systems.
  • Work within the project’s scope, schedule, and budget constraints, understanding and meeting project requirements.
  • Possess a strong understanding of automation and control systems, specifically SCADA systems.
  • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience supporting water, wastewater, or remediation projects involving automation and control systems.
  • Possess a relevant technical background, such as a degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Have the ability to travel regionally up to 80%, including occasional overnight travel, to support project activities at job sites.
