Job Description
The Proposal Coordinator is responsible for managing the development and submission of proposals, collaborating with various teams to ensure timely, high-quality responses to RFPs and SOQs, and supporting the business development process in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of proposal development from decision to completion and delivery
- Collaborate with Marketing, Client Managers, Practice Leaders, and Project Managers to prepare responses to RFPs and SOQs
- Ensure timely and high-quality proposal submissions
- Support the process from short-list selection to interview presentation
- Organize and coordinate proposal content, deadlines, and submission materials
Requirements
- Experience as a Proposal Coordinator or in a similar role with demonstrated ability to independently manage all phases of proposal development from the go decision through completion and delivery.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple proposal deadlines simultaneously.
- Outstanding communication skills to collaborate effectively with Marketing, Client Managers, Practice Leaders, and Project Managers.
- Proficiency in desktop publishing and producing polished, impactful proposals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience supporting the proposal process from short-list selection to interview presentation.
- Excellent multi-tasking skills to handle numerous proposal deadlines and responsibilities concurrently.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while supporting multiple managers across teams.
- Location flexibility to work in a hybrid setting, with a preference for candidates located in San Diego, CA; Walnut Creek, CA; Portland, ME; Canton, MA; or Providence, RI.
