A Mechanical HVACP Engineer responsible for designing, coordinating, and overseeing HVAC and plumbing systems for industrial, municipal, and water treatment facilities, supporting projects from concept through construction with opportunities for professional growth and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop HVAC, plumbing, and odor control systems for various projects.
Interface with clients to understand their HVAC and plumbing requirements.
Prepare and coordinate engineering reports, studies, calculations, drawings, and specifications.
Perform construction phase services, including shop drawing review and contractor oversight.
Conduct QA/QC functions to ensure accuracy and adequacy of work products.
Requirements
Candidates must have related mechanical engineering experience ranging from 3 to 8 years.
Candidates must be able to work on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, odor control, and plumbing projects for industrial, water, wastewater, municipal, design-build, and plant operations clients on a regional and national basis.
Candidates must interface with clients to understand their HVAC and plumbing requirements for municipal, utility, and industrial facilities.
Candidates must prepare and coordinate engineering reports, studies, calculations, drawings, and specifications.
Candidates must perform construction phase services such as shop drawing review and contractor oversight.
Candidates must carry out QA QC functions to ensure accuracy and adequacy of work products.
Candidates must be able to develop to work independently on most projects with support from experienced engineers.
Candidates must have the ability to deliver HVAC plumbing design solutions for various building and space types in a consulting environment.
Candidates must be willing to travel 5-10% within the New England Region.
Candidates must be located in or willing to work in one of the following locations: Bangor, ME; Portland, ME; Andover, MA; Canton, MA; Providence, RI.
Candidates must be able to be in the office for a minimum of two days per week (hybrid expectation).
