Job Description
The Groundwater Modeler will develop and manage water resources modeling and planning projects, collaborating with clients and project teams to deliver innovative solutions for groundwater-related challenges across California and Florida.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and deliver water resources modeling and planning projects.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholder groups, and project teams to develop innovative groundwater solutions.
- Manage successful project teams working on groundwater-related projects.
Requirements
- Experience in the water resources field with the ability to develop innovative solutions to challenging groundwater-related projects and manage successful project teams.
- Ability to collaborate with state, federal, and local clients to develop, execute, and deliver water resources modeling and planning projects across California and Florida.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients, stakeholder groups, and project teams.
- Experience in developing, executing, and delivering water resources modeling and planning projects.
- Location flexibility with a preference for Sacramento, California, but open to other locations.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% within California.
- Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG), or Certified Hydrogeologist (CHG) certification or equivalent professional credentials.
- Ability to work in a hybrid, remote, or onsite schedule, with flexibility to negotiate work arrangements.
- Ability to perform the physical and mental demands associated with the role, including managing multiple projects and communicating effectively.
