Job Description
The Design Build Leader is responsible for overseeing complex water and environmental infrastructure projects using traditional and progressive design-build methodologies, leading cross-functional teams, and collaborating with clients and internal divisions to deliver innovative, safe, and profitable solutions from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all aspects of Collaborative Delivery for Design Build (DB) and Progressive Design Build (PDB) projects from concept through completion.
- Guide and manage cross-functional teams to execute complex water and environmental infrastructure projects with a focus on safety, quality, profitability, and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Consulting, Operations, and O&M divisions to deliver integrated solutions tailored to client needs and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with Client Managers to educate and develop customized project approaches that meet regulatory standards.
- Shape strategy and execution for Collaborative Delivery across the organization, serving as the primary subject matter expert.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in both traditional Design Build (DB) and Progressive Design Build (PDB) methodologies, with the ability to oversee all aspects of Collaborative Delivery from pre-construction through completion.
- Experience leading high-profile, complex water and environmental infrastructure projects with a focus on safety, quality, profitability, and client satisfaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively across Consulting, Operations, and O M divisions to deliver fully integrated solutions tailored to client needs and regulatory requirements.
- Strong collaboration skills to work closely with Client Managers to educate and guide clients through tailored project approaches that meet regulatory requirements.
- Proven leadership in guiding cross-functional teams in executing complex infrastructure projects.
- Experience in delivering projects through both traditional Design Build (DB) and Progressive Design Build (PDB) delivery methods.
- Ability to deliver Integrated Solutions in partnership with the Operations and Maintenance (O M) division.
- Location flexibility for remote work, with a preferred candidate location in Florida or the Midwest.
- Willingness to travel nationwide approximately 30-60% of the time.
- Demonstrated strategic and experienced leadership in a collaborative environment, with a focus on safety, quality, profitability, and client satisfaction.
