Job Description
The Corporate Senior Accountant is responsible for performing corporate accounting tasks, including month-end close, data analysis, internal controls, audit facilitation, and financial reporting, utilizing strong knowledge of GAAP and critical thinking skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform corporate accounting and month-end close processes
- Apply critical thinking and strong knowledge of GAAP in financial activities
- Conduct complex data analysis related to financial data
- Manage internal controls and facilitate audits
- Prepare and analyze financial reports and perform financial analysis
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) to perform corporate accounting and month-end close activities.
- Ability to apply critical thinking in financial analysis and reporting duties.
- Experience in performing complex data analysis related to corporate accounting.
- Experience in internal controls and audit facilitation within a corporate setting.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate accounting or a related field.
- Proficiency in performing financial analysis and preparing financial reports.
- Educational background in accounting, finance, or a related field (implied requirement for a senior accountant role).
