Job Description
A Product Manager at Insider is responsible for guiding the development and vision of B2B SaaS marketing products, using data and research to create innovative solutions that enhance customer experience and engagement across multiple channels, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving product growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide new product ideas and set the vision for the product portfolio
- Use data, research, and strategy to direct development and design teams
- Make decisions on features, product releases, and innovations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product goals
- Gather and analyze feedback to inform product improvements
- Mentor and work closely with experienced product managers to develop skills
- Communicate complex information clearly to various audiences
- Identify and solve complex problems related to product development
- Take ownership of product success and drive continuous innovation
Requirements
- Experience in product management or a related role, with the ability to make important responsibilities and learn from mistakes, gaining experience to become a successful product manager.
- Ability to make decisions and set direction while motivating and inspiring people around you, demonstrating leadership skills.
- Strong communication skills, capable of transmitting complex information clearly to different audiences and effectively gathering information from various sources.
- Natural problem-solving skills, with a passion for finding solutions to complex problems and a sense of accomplishment when solving them.
- Ability to work well with others, helping team members when needed, providing and receiving constructive feedback, and managing personal conflicts professionally.
- Active listening skills, with the ability to gather information from multiple sources to make better-informed decisions on guiding and improving products and services.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, with a proactive mindset that embraces critical questioning, innovation, and continuous improvement, including seeking out change and new opportunities for innovation.
- Willingness to take ownership and pride in work, with the ability to see the big picture and take risks when necessary.
