Job Description

The role involves managing and growing enterprise software sales, particularly in cloud-native and storage solutions, through strategic account planning, relationship building, and collaboration with partners to drive new business and customer success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow a territory and manage deals from land to expand through account planning and selling
  • Drive new business opportunities by working with partners
  • Understand customer use-cases to identify and pursue new opportunities
  • Plan and maintain relationships at strategic and operational levels
  • Evaluate new opportunities and present recommendations to management
  • Conduct market intelligence sessions for customers
  • Collaborate with sales, pre-sales, SDR, and engineering teams
  • Deliver enablement sessions to promote Portworx solutions
  • Leverage documentation and best practices to assist customers
  • Lead complex sales processes with multiple stakeholders to achieve revenue targets

Requirements

  • 8 years experience in selling Enterprise software and subscription software
  • A basic technical understanding of the Enterprise software, Container, cloud native, and storage domains
  • Ability to present Portworx’s UVP, product, vision, strategy, and road map
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communication, able to build relationships easily and deepen them over time
  • Proven prospecting skills with an avid hunter mentality, consistently opening doors to new customers and navigating seamlessly between the boardroom and the data center while passionately positioning the advantages of a Portworx solution
  • Authenticity and a genuine desire to engage customers and understand their business challenges
  • Thought leadership, creativity, and a Challenger Mindset, with the ability to apply customer insights and technology solutions to position Pure’s portfolio to solve persistent problems
  • Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency
  • Experience leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, while fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with Partners
  • A consistent track record of exceeding quota and driving referenceable business
  • Fluency in business language in Turkish and English
  • Ability to grow a territory and manage deals from land to expand, including major account planning and selling
  • Ability to work through partners to drive new business opportunities
  • Ability to understand prospect and customer use-cases to drive new business
  • Ability to evaluate new opportunities and present recommendations to the management team
  • Ability to conduct competitive and market intelligence sessions for customers
  • Ability to give enablement sessions both 1:1 and in groups to promote Portworx
  • Ability to leverage documentation, best practices, knowledge-base articles, and other resources to assist customers
