Job Description
A Machine Learning Engineer at Insider will develop and implement AI-powered systems to enhance product discovery, personalization, and analytics, working across the full tech stack in a collaborative, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build AI-powered systems to enhance product discovery, including semantic search and suggestions
- Develop and implement machine learning models for personalization and analytics
- Collaborate across teams to work on data, modeling, software systems, and observability
- Own and develop meaningful components of AI and ML products with support from experienced engineers and scientists
Requirements
- Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models and AI-powered systems.
- Strong programming skills in relevant languages such as Python, Java, or similar.
- Experience working across the full stack, including data processing, modeling, software systems, and observability.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work in an agile environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in building AI-powered systems that make product discovery faster, more relevant, and deeply personalized.
- Deep knowledge in core areas of machine learning, data modeling, and software development, with curiosity to expand across the stack.
- Experience working with large-scale data, including historical data of more than 100 TB.
- Ability to own meaningful pieces of products and grow quickly within a team environment.
