Job Description
The Head of FP A at Insider is responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis team to deliver accurate reporting, budgeting, and strategic financial insights across the company's business units, supporting overall financial decision-making and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the FP&A team to deliver accurate financial reporting.
- Develop and oversee the budgeting process across all business units.
- Provide insightful financial analysis and strategic recommendations.
Requirements
- Lead the FP A team to deliver accurate reporting, thoughtful budgeting, and sharp financial insights across all business units.
- Possess experience in financial planning and analysis (FP A) leadership roles, with a proven track record of managing FP A teams.
- Demonstrate strong skills in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of financial metrics and key performance indicators relevant to a SaaS or technology company.
- Possess the ability to provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Have experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, ideally within a SaaS or B2B technology company.
- Possess excellent communication skills to effectively present financial insights to stakeholders at various levels.
- Have a strong understanding of financial systems and tools used for reporting and analysis.
- Possess a relevant educational background, such as a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are preferred.
- Be able to act with a high degree of ownership, responsibility, and initiative in a collaborative team environment.
