Job Description
A Financial Controller role responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting strategic financial planning within a dynamic and innovative SaaS company.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the company's financial planning, reporting, and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes.
- Supervise accounting operations and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Requirements
- Proven experience in financial controlling or a similar finance role with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of financial management, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
- Ability to prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements and reports accurately.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify financial trends and variances.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as ERP systems, Excel, and other relevant financial applications.
- Solid knowledge of compliance requirements and regulatory standards related to financial reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, CMA) is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present financial information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to perform tasks associated with financial analysis and reporting, including prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
