Job Description
A DevOps in Test role focused on implementing and maintaining testing automation and infrastructure to ensure the quality and reliability of software products in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the company's DevOps infrastructure for testing environments
- Automate deployment, integration, and testing processes
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in testing and staging environments
Requirements
- Proven experience in DevOps practices, specifically related to testing environments, automation, and deployment pipelines.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience implementing them in a production environment.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including deploying and managing applications in cloud environments.
- Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, or similar for automation purposes.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with development, QA, and product teams to integrate testing and deployment processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of experience working in DevOps or a similar role focused on testing and deployment automation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Strong communication skills to clearly document processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
