Job Description
The Key Account Manager is responsible for sourcing, managing, and closing deals related to ground lease buy-outs in the telecom and renewables infrastructure sectors, while building and maintaining a strong client pipeline through consultative sales and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage personal pipeline of origination leads from sourcing to closing
- Build and maintain client pipeline using a consultative approach
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets related to origination and closings
- Monitor sales pipeline activity to ensure its health and stability
- Contribute to origination processes, including data mining, CRM design, and marketing initiatives
- Participate in strategic initiatives and product development to stay competitive
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience in business to consumer (B2C) sales
- Natural sales talent with strong business acumen
- Exceptional negotiation skills
- Experience negotiating transactions from sourcing through close
- Proven ability to deliver results and prioritize tasks in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
- Outstanding negotiation and influence skills
- High level of ethical, intellectual, professional, and personal values that complement the team and company culture
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a personal pipeline of origination leads from sourcing to closing
- Ability to be the first point of contact for prospective clients and employ a consultative approach to clients considering a ground lease buy-out
- Ability to achieve personal monthly, quarterly, and annual targets related to origination funnel management and closings
- Ability to rigorously monitor personal origination waterfall activity to ensure health and stability of sales pipeline
