Job Description
The Senior Energy Engineer will lead energy consulting projects such as energy audits, retro-commissioning, and renewable energy initiatives, providing technical expertise and project management to support energy efficiency and sustainability goals for large organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead energy consulting projects including energy audits, retro-commissioning studies, and development of energy efficiency and renewable energy initiatives.
- Resolve technical client issues related to energy projects.
- Support business development efforts in the energy sector.
- Manage and oversee high-performing teams on energy efficiency consulting projects.
- Apply engineering concepts to develop and implement energy optimization and electrification strategies.
Requirements
- A fully qualified engineer with previous success as a Project Manager or Senior Energy Engineer.
- Experience with energy consulting projects, including energy audits, retro-commissioning (RCx) studies, and conceptual development of capital energy efficiency, carbon reduction, and renewable energy projects.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve a variety of technical client issues related to energy projects.
- Experience working with a sales team to support business development efforts.
- Understanding of relevant engineering concepts related to energy and sustainability.
