Job Description
The Energy Engineer will work on energy efficiency consulting projects, including audits and renewable energy initiatives, providing technical expertise to help large organizations optimize their energy use and reduce carbon footprint.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct energy audits and retro-commissioning RCx studies
- Develop conceptual designs for capital energy efficiency, carbon reduction, and renewable energy projects
- Resolve technical issues for clients related to energy projects
- Apply engineering principles to support energy consulting projects
- Collaborate with team members on energy efficiency consulting initiatives
Requirements
- A fully qualified engineer with previous success as a Project Engineer or Senior Energy Engineer.
- Experience with energy consulting projects, including energy audits, retro-commissioning (RCx) studies, and conceptual development of capital energy efficiency, carbon reduction, and renewable energy projects.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve a variety of technical client issues related to energy projects.
- Full understanding of relevant engineering concepts applicable to energy efficiency and sustainability projects.
