Job Description
A Senior Transportation Planner leads and manages transportation planning projects, engages with community stakeholders, and supports business development efforts within a collaborative, employee-owned firm, focusing on the Greater Seattle Market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead transportation planning projects in the Greater Seattle Market.
- Collaborate with professionals on small to large-scale planning and design projects.
- Engage in community stakeholder engagement and develop planning documentation.
- Manage project programs from planning through to construction administration.
- Contribute to business development by developing marketing plans, cultivating client and agency relationships, tracking opportunities, and preparing proposals.
- Deliver client presentations and support service expansion efforts.
Requirements
- Experience leading transportation planning projects in the Greater Seattle Market or similar regional context.
- Ability to lead planning projects and collaborate with expert professionals on a variety of small to large-scale projects.
- Engagement in all aspects of the planning and design process, including community stakeholder engagement, planning documentation, and program management through to construction administration.
- Experience contributing to the development of marketing plans, cultivating and maintaining relations with clients and agency representatives, tracking prospective opportunities, developing proposals, and delivering client presentations.
- Ability to work in a flexible work environment with a schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
- Pre-employment background screening including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
