Job Description

The Senior Project Manager Engineer at TKDA leads water resource projects focused on stormwater management, flood control, and water quality improvement, working on diverse infrastructure projects while promoting sustainability, cost-efficiency, and environmental impact in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and manage water resource projects related to stormwater control, drainage, and management systems.
  • Design, model, and develop stormwater management solutions that balance cost, sustainability, and environmental protection.
  • Lead project teams and coordinate with clients, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Shape sustainable and innovative solutions to address clients' water resource challenges.
  • Ensure projects are optimized for cost efficiency, risk mitigation, and environmental impact.

Requirements

  • Experience in driving innovative water resource projects as either a Project Manager or Engineer, with the ability to shape sustainable solutions for clients' pressing challenges and make a meaningful environmental impact.
  • Ability to lead and manage projects related to designing, modeling, and developing stormwater drainage and management systems for DOT, county, city, Class I railroad, and private clients nationwide.
  • Demonstrated skills in project management or task leadership within water resources or related engineering fields.
  • Proficiency in developing practical, cost-effective, and maintenance-friendly stormwater control measures that balance flood control, water quality enhancement, and wetland, lake, and river protection.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid work environment with in-office presence on Monday and Friday and WFH on Tuesday through Thursday.
  • Educational background or professional experience sufficient to perform senior-level project management or engineering duties in water resources (specific degree requirements are not explicitly stated but implied by seniority).
