Job Description
A Senior Project Manager with civil engineering expertise is responsible for designing and managing transportation and municipal projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to business development efforts within a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage transportation and municipal projects within civil engineering disciplines.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals to provide civil design and project management.
- Contribute to business development by developing marketing plans, cultivating client relationships, and tracking opportunities.
- Develop proposals and deliver client presentations to support project acquisition.
- Ensure projects are optimized for cost efficiency and risk mitigation.
Requirements
- Extensive experience designing and managing a variety of projects within the transportation and municipal government sectors.
- Experience working alongside Civil, Water Resources, Electrical, Mechanical, and Structural professionals to provide civil design and management of multi-discipline projects.
- Ability to collaborate with the Regional Vice President to develop marketing plans, cultivate and maintain relations with clients and agency representatives, track prospective opportunities, develop proposals, and deliver client presentations.
- Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience in business development activities related to civil engineering projects, including contributing to marketing and client relations.
- Ability to work in a hybrid work environment with in-office presence on Monday and Friday and WFH on Tuesday through Thursday.
- Successful completion of a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
