Job Description
A senior engineer responsible for leading the design, development, and management of water and wastewater projects, including treatment facilities and private systems, while mentoring team members and driving business growth within a collaborative, employee-owned firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of municipal treatment facilities and private water systems.
- Manage project strategy from concept to construction.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and team members.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
- Drive business development and represent the company at industry events.
Requirements
- Possess a valid driver s license with a clean driving record.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to travel frequently throughout the country for project assignments.
- Complete and pass any background, security, motor vehicle record (MVR), or drug test requests required by TKDA, clients, and applicable state and federal agencies based on prospective project assignments.
- Possess a minimum of several years of experience leading complex public and private water projects (implied by the senior professional engineer role, though specific years are not explicitly stated).
- Have a strong civil engineering background with experience in water-wastewater engineering or related fields.
- Design municipal treatment facilities and private development systems.
