Job Description
A Senior Professional Engineer Project Manager responsible for leading the design and delivery of complex transportation infrastructure projects, including planning, engineering, and client relations, within a collaborative and hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of complex transportation infrastructure projects
- Provide transportation planning, geometric layouts, and multimodal planning services
- Manage preliminary engineering and final design phases
- Collaborate with the Regional Vice President on business development activities
- Develop marketing plans, proposals, and client presentations
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients and agency representatives
- Track prospective opportunities and contribute to project acquisition
Requirements
- Must have experience leading projects for designing complex, safe, and efficient transportation infrastructure systems.
- Must have experience working with clients to provide a full range of services including sustainable transportation planning, geometric layouts, multimodal planning, preliminary engineering, and final design.
- Must have the ability to collaborate with the Regional Vice President to develop marketing plans, cultivate and maintain relations with clients and agency representatives, track prospective opportunities, develop proposals, and deliver client presentations.
- Must have a minimum of several years of professional engineering experience relevant to transportation infrastructure projects (exact years not specified but implied as senior level).
- Must have a valid professional engineer (PE) license.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid work environment, with in-office presence Tuesday through Thursday and WFH Monday and Friday.
- Must complete a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
